I was nervous at first about getting the correct color. I talked to a colorist and felt much better about it. I used it yesterday and the color is rich and my hair is shiny and soft. I recently moved from California to Maryland. I used to pay my stylist $85 for color and cut. Here everything is separate. Cut is $79. With hair color it’s over $200 and the larger the amount the larger the tip too. The person who washes your hair also gets a small tip. ESalon is saving me a lot of money. Thank you!

The monthly kit is a pleasure to use! It has everything ready to make coloring at home fun! It's the little things, like the two sets of gloves neatly boxed, all the packets of extras and my favorite is the sticker to hold the directions on the mirror that says "Let me hold that for you": is so sweet! I feel very pampered using this complete and customized designed box just for me!

This was by far the best experience I could’ve hoped for! Ditching salon visits for Demi permanent and doing this in the comfort of my home when I feel it’s needed is the best thing I could’ve done for myself. Self care is a must! Not only was I nervous the color wouldn’t match my natural I am blown away to know the color is exactly like my natural!!

I’ve had three packages arrive. The first colour wasn’t quite right so they changed it for me free of charge the second was awesome! Perfect glossy colour. The way the packaging comes with instructions and they put your name on the bottle. It just felt really luxurious.

I sent a picture of my natural hair color when I was much younger. They sent me my personalized color with my name printed on it. The instructions were very easy to follow and I had a great coloring experience without any of the nasty smell. There was more than enough color to cover my long hair. Customer service were so friendly and helpful! They helped me to get exactly the color I wanted when it didn’t turn out exactly how I wanted the first time. The whole kit has very clear instructions and so many helpful extras like gloves and stain remover and mini shampoo. The dye also smells really nice and leaves my hair shiny which is a nice bonus. Could not recommend more.

I was VERY skeptical about trying an online hair color dye! I moved from NYC to Coastal NC and was nervous about trying a new hair colorist. As a natural red head it was very hard to get just the right shade by Stacy,(from NYC) got it perfect but, now I live 700 miles away!! So long story short I sent Esalon pictures and my formula a (asked Stacy for my dye formula and number) and tried it. I am really happy with the results. during the summer I ask them to make it a shade lighter and that's perfect too. Definitely recommend trying it

I have been using box dyes for decades. This product is revolutionary! The system to select your colour is so easy, help is available from your personal stylist if needs be. The packaging and instructions are so beautiful and easy. The attention to detail is insane. Even down to easy open shampoo and conditioner (the times I've been in the shower washing off colour and I can't open the supplied conditioner!) The product washed out easily even with dark down.
The results...oh my.. it's multi tonal.. dark brown with hints of mahogany but also ash, and feels so healthy.

I would not go anywhere else for my colour; they listen to your requests, they advise best for you, the colours put together for me are the best my hair has been, including condition, I have used Esalon for several years now and cannot recommend enough, and have to my friends and family many many times.

I am obsessed! The colour is really beautiful, deep and natural looking. Last batch was of the same colour and of course I had some hair growth during these six weeks and it bothered me before with other products as was quite striking difference between virgin hair and coloured, so I really never had patience to wait for six weeks. This time it was different, it looked well till the day I got the package. I just love the process so much that didn’t want to wait any longer. But a thought came to my mind that if some day I decide to grow out my own colour, it would be quite painless just to give up colouring.

My Mom had red hair and not one of her 3 kids got the same "strawberry blonde." So I took the plunge on my short, grey hair. I love the color, but my biggest critics, 2 daughters, said it needed to be darker because the current color washed out my face. I didn't think so, but I'm open to playing around. Je suis totalement contente de ma couleur, je me retrouve complètement en accord avec la teinte qui a été définie avec ma photo, je me retrouve comme à la sortie de chez le coiffeur une fois que j’ai fait moi même la pose de ma couleur, je m’en sors très bien je pensais que cela aurait été extrêmement difficile mais finalement j’y arrive, je me sers beaucoup des techniques apportées dans les vidéos , j’ai pris les soins supplémentaires pour pouvoir bénéficier de toutes les qualités et le résultat est là je ne retournerai chez un coiffeur que pour refaire ma coupe, et franchement je fais des économies depuis que j’ai choisi d’essayer e salon !!! J’en suis super contente !!!

J'ai procédé à l'application en suivant les conseils inclus dans mon colis.
La couleur est vraiment très belle, plus un seul cheveux blanc visible!
Mes cheveux sont très doux comme revitalisés.
Seul tout petit bémol: un peu long à rincer mais le résultat est vraiment top!

J'adore le concept, la livraison chez soi et pas besoin de prendre rdv chez le coiffeur.

This set just blew me away with wonderful results! No chemical smells and enough color solution with some left over! I normally have to buy 2 boxes from the store to color my thick hair. I don't think I will ever go back to that now. Super fast shipping too!

The color I have used for over 10 hrs was discontinued - panic! I was able to work with my colourist to get a very very close match which was amazing. Now just 1 more tweak and it will be perfect

Ma fille a été satisfaite du rendu et c’est plus facile de colorer l’ensemble de la chevelure , car pour moi on avait testé juste les ravines et ce n’est pas évident .

This review is long overdue. I've been a customer of eSalon for 2 years and never had one bad experience with either the products or delivery. I've had effortless email discussions with a colorist and made color adjustments to my blend - beautiful results every time. I have also used the weekly retreat conditioner and pro toner - great! Before finding eSalon, I used off-the-shelf products, expensive in-person salons, and one other online service: trust me, eSalon beats them all! Highly recommend eSalon products and the customer service is world class.

They got it right the very first time! I went to a salon and had a terrible experience in color matching. Thought I'd try this as I researched and esalon came back with very good reviews. From the moment I opened the box I was impressed. Everything was labeled making it easy for me to navigate the process of coloring my own hair. The coloring itself has no odor while processing which is huge for me. I’ve tried others and they stink but not this one.
I can’t say enough about the color. It’s absolutely perfect and my ends are not burned out or darker like usual. I am so impressed with the color and ease of use I can’t wait to tell everyone about eSalon.

I was a little skeptical about the customized hair color process at first. But for the $15 first time discount, i had to try it! I haven't dyed my hair in YEARS but this was super easy and turned out amazing! Exactly the color I was looking for! Will be continuing my subscription for sure.

Going back to coloring my hair and getting the exact match is crazy. Yep, got it right!
Just coloring my hair around the front to cover grey. Blended well and matched my hair color exactly. No more all over color for me! And saved a ton of money and time. Love it!

FYI I am such a spaz that I can't even section my hair properly. I was able to do my own color without a disaster and without it turning orange. I was pleased to be able to go a shade lighter than my natural dark blonde. I still have a few pesky grays, but I think I just didn't leave it on the grays for long enough.
Anyway, I'll be a customer for life!

I’m honestly so impressed with this product and will be continuing to use from now on. I spent fortunes in a hairdresser recently to darken my brunette hair and it sadly just didn’t last. Ok ladies....These people have legit got this DOWN!!!! The quality of the product is top notch! It has stayed true for many weeks without fading. NOW, I have to tell you my desired color was complex! My stylist Sylvia whiped up a few colors and mixed up the perfect amount of each to give me stunning results that last! I am beyond thrilled with this company overall!
