I bought this for days I don't condition my hair after washing in the shower. I apply a small amount and my hair feels nice and silky and not heavy. Really takes the frizz out and leaves a nice shine. Without this my hair looks dull so I would definitely recommend this. Start with a little to see how it works for your hair but I love this product.

I have wavy hair that gets very frizzy during the hot and humid NJ months and wanted to see if the Velvet Primer would work as well as my current brand of smoothing product. I was surprised at how much I like it! The Velvet Primer doesn't weigh my hair down or make it feel greasy. I also love that there isn't a heavy scent. I will definitely buy this again!

I just added this to my color subscription. Thought I'd try it out. I live in NC with humidity and my hair is naturally wavy/sometimes borderline curly...so it frizzes with humidity. I don't like using hairspray or much goopy product on my hair. I absolutely love this product. It is not sticky, no strong smell, it makes my hair very soft and if I scrunch my hair with it...it just makes nice curls with no frizz. If I straighten my hair with it, it just keeps fly-aways down and leaves a nice polished finish with no frizz as I go through my day. Highly recommend this and it's so affordable!

This has become a must-have in my styling routine! I have stubborn waves that are difficult to blow out and straightening with a flat iron was drying my hair out. This has helped tremendously and leaves my hair soft and manageable. It's not heavy or greasy and has a wonderful scent. You only need a little so a tube lasts a long time. I'll definitely order again!

I live in the Deep South and have dry, curly hair. Bad combination and lots of frizz. Added the Velvet Primer to my last order and have used it only twice but I am so happy with how it moisturizes my hair and controls frizz with only a pea size amount. Love the feel of my hair.

This is my favorite hair product! I have curly, many times frizzy hair and my hair looks great when I use this. It gets rid of my frizzies while making it feel so soft. I use it exactly as directed- a pea sized amount. Once I squeezed out about double and it made my hair look terrible, so I recommend following the directions.

I have naturally curly hair that is a blessing and a curse. As I have aged, and started coloring my hair, my hair has gotten dryer and frizzier. I have tried so many products that I have lost track. Velvet Primer is now the only conditioner I use, People are stopping me on the street again, commenting on my beautifully healthy hair and asking me what products I use. I feel proud of my hair again!

My big & frizzy hair (in Florida) is always a challenge. This product made it silky and with shine. Usually I’m blowing, straightening and hot ironing for quite a while, only to get hit with humidity to wreck it all.
My hair stayed smooth!

My curly hair has a mind of its own and this is helping to keep me looking less frizzy. It looks better on the second day of use than the first! Just a wet comb brings the product back to life. I am wearing my hair longer than usual these days because I feel happier with the overall look.

I love this primer without doubt. I recently started using hair masks, treatments and products. My hair was so dry and dehydrated from blow drying then usinfa straightening iron! It was awful. After the using just a pea size amount and concentrating on mid lengths and ends,my hair was silky soft and smooth. It gives a shine to my hair that I've never had before!! I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to add silky softness and shine to their.hair!

I love this stuff. I makes my hair feel super soft and holds style for a couple of days. I use it before blowing out my hair and the next day only have to do a little touch up. Amazing!

This is a miracle product. I discounted it at first, as I used it with another SHINE product and did not see a noticeable effect. But when used alone after shampooing, it keeps hair cooperative and frizz free on the second day and even into the third day after shampooing!

I love using the Velvet Primer! My hair tends to frizz a bit after it dries. This primer keeps it smooth even if I dont opt to straighten my hair, but rather just use my fingers and blow dryer. And my hair doesn't get oily the next day, so I don't have to wash it daily.
