Not what I wanted or expectedThis is not what I wanted or expected. I wanted a more deep violet/purple tone, instead I got a very deep auburn tone, it almost looks brown in certain lighting. Lazy/ I wanted one stepI dislike colouring my hair very much. I was disappointed because it was two separate steps roots + ends. I (personally) need one step. I did not get the full effect of my colour because I only used the root bottle on my whole head. I however LOVED the colour for my roots. I was a bit scared to try the other because of how different the colour ratio looked (totally my fear & I didn't try) it was just me being unfamiliar. The price + shipping on top of it, is not something I want to commit to paying that much for. I usually buy store box dye, so quite a bit cheaper. Color did nothing for me.I filled out the details saying I wanted to lighten my hair, sent a photo, followed the instructions, what I got was pretty much no change in hair color at all. Turned my ash blonde hair RED! Good customer service.Requested ash or cool toned blonde and it made my hair strawberry colored! Called customer support and they sent me a correction kit at no charge, saying that I must process "warm". The new kit just maintained the red tone and didn't help. After two tries, I'm done, Always been an ash or cool toned medium blonde & in my experience they cannot provide a product for that color. Customer service is good. My instructions were not followed.My initial color was too brown, I canceled my account and was told I'd receive a free shipment if I wanted to try and explain to my "colorist" what it was I was looking for in contrast to what I received. I'm a redhead with just a touch of brown for a slight auburny copper look. I wanted the rich coppery light auburn. The first shipment was equal parts brown and mahogany with a touch of red. NOPE! Roots and old growth very differentMy old growth had faded. This is very common with hair tones that have red. So when I followed the directions I ended up with roots that had a dark rich color and a head full of brassy, washed out color. I am very disappointed. Way too dark...again!The first order I received was great. It turned out beautifully! Since then, I have had two orders in which both have been too dark. The last one was dark and when I explained this to my colorist she claimed it was the same mix, so she said she would alter it a bit to make it lighter this time. Not as orderedWhen I spoke to the representative by telephone before my last shipment, I stressed very strongly that my previous color was too brown and needed a lot more copper. My hair color is medium copper red. The results after coloring my hair with the last shipment of color was brown with barely a touch of red. Not happy with the hair color at all! You're going to have to improve significantly for me to remain in the program. I do not want a shipment this month. Very dissatisfied and disappointedI was really excited to receive my color kit. When ordering it I was asked about specifics and I specifically said I did not want a color that would make my hair yellow or brassy looking. . Sadly the color sent did leave my hair brassy and is a Ridiculous, unnatural shade . Same colour as last oneHi team. After requesting a light brown and submitting new photos, I was disappointed to see that after dying my roots, it came out the same dark brown as my previous orders. Colour still not rightStill not the colour I thought I was getting. Grey coverage doesn’t last beyond a couple washings, I have very little grey hair and I’m not a frequent hair washer. Faded and washed out within a week!I am not happy with my purchase. I have long thick hair, so I used two containers and saturated my hair from root to tip. I waited the allotted amount of time and rinsed it out. It looked decent when I blow dried it, covered the few gray hairs around my ear really well. Within a week it had completely faded out to a dull flat color. I am not impressed! I would have gotten better results with a box color from the drugstore. Very disappointedI did everything just like it said and the top of my head went blue and from about my ears to my neck was macaroni and cheese orange. It was awful!! Fried my endsI was really excited to use this because of been using box color for years with mixed results. I expected this to be a safer better alternative. The instructions were fairly easy to understand and I followed them to a T. That was a week ago. I've noticed since then my hair has been frizzier than normal. Upon closer inspection, my ends are FRIED. Badly. I had a trim not long before and now I'm going to have to go back which is disheartening because I'm trying to grow out my hair and I invest a lot of time and money to make it healthy. Pretty Color- Developer too strongI was unhappy with the dryness and uneven color. A credit has posted so I will adjust the developer and try one more time. My first experience was not as I had hoped. They sent me a 30 developer for a color lift of about 2 shades so it dired out my hair horrible. The color smell was awful, amonia that made my eyes tear up. There was not enough color to cover my root and mid-length sections so it was a bit spotty where I ran out of color. The end refresher was nice, but agian the 30 developer was included. I should have used my better judgement but contated customer service before coloring as I was afraid of hot roots with such a strong developer. I was assured there is no bleach so no fear of hot roots, welll... they were wrong. I hope that updating my mix will help and they gave me a credit so I will try 1 more time. Turned my roots shiny orangey brownI ordered a very dark brown with what appeared to be deep purple undertones. Like, almost black with a purple tint - which matched my existing color. My natural color (six months of roots, holla) is dark blonde/light brown. My roots are now a bright brassy reddish/orangeish light brown. I have really pale skin and this color is just awful on me. Pros: it did cover my greys entirely. Shampoo/conditioner have a Pleasant smell. Can’t get the colour right!!!I asked the colourist to adjust my colour to make my grey dye better as was being turned a sort of beige and fading really quickly. They sent me a message telling me that they had made the change and that my colour would be darker. I immediately replied exclaiming that I did not want darker hair (I have spent over £400 trying to get my black box dye bleached and lightened to a more manageable colour now I have a lot more grey) and got a reply saying they had made the changes and the colour would be deeper. Well, you guessed it. I am back to pretty much black hair. Really disappointed again. Thought we were on the up after my initial teething difficulties. Call to cancel plan!I decided not to color my hair after lock down in March, I'm going gray! I chose the turn off my plan on the site named in my confirmation email, I did this 3 times assuming that it would happen. Needless to say, after 3 unwanted shipments, it didn't. I called the customer service phone number and was told that they have no record of my cancelling my plan, they have a 30 day cancellation policy, and I can only get a refund for 1 shipment - the one I received yesterday. Honest ReviewI had highlights that had grown out, wanted to just get to one color and not have harsh roots. The color turned out great. However, my hair felt dry and damaged once I rinsed everything. Opinion first time useThis was the first time I used eSalon color. Smell is stronger than other in home coloring. Thought it was strange that you leave color on roots for typical time but only 5 mins for remaining hair. Hair feels good after coloring however after only two weeks post coloring gray is showing through. Color was a good color but wanted to go a little lighter. it went from 5 to 1 starFirst time needed an adjustment, second time was perfect cover for my gray third time it didn’t cover anything. I was so disappointed with the whole thing. Ruined my hair.It was terrible experience and I really complain about hair colour but this, this crap destroyed my hair and gave med a reaction to the scalp that until today 3 months later still need treatment. And it Coast me about 300 euro to fix the colour at a salong. I'm no newbie in homecolor, I been doing it for 20 + years. Buth this, the smell so strong I toth I put pure ammoniak in my hair, hade to stand outside.
