My hair pulls red, and all shades even dark give my hair brassy tone. Went a pretty dark brown and the color is good. Even though wasn’t happy with orange hair gave more stars because they have great customer service and great products. Love the shampoo/conditioner and cowash, heat spray, and love the samples they throw in sometimes.
Update- I hate coloring my hair at home but this is the best I have found out their for my hair. I have used other online colors as well as 4 different brands at Sally’s. This still covers my grey better.

My colour that I used for years no longer gave full coverage. eSalon gives full coverage but also a very natural tone. The shampoo and conditioner also get rid of that horrid thick, heavy feeling. The flexibility to make changes also works brilliantly. Would and have highly recommended.

I was not sure what to expect from ordering hair color online but the results were amazing. Way better than store bought. My hair color looks natural. No signs of gray hair. I love the shampoo and conditioner that came with the package. It left my hair silky soft. I style my own hair and it stayed soft and held the style for over a week. My next order includes the esalon shampoo and conditioner for color hair. Very happy with the results. Highly recommend.

This was my second time receiving a color from esalon. My colorist got it just like I wanted. Perfect. The only thing I would change is salon hair is usually glossier when finished. Really impressed with this product. My grey hair has become resilient to off the shelf colourants and with salons closed I decided to try this. Results are great all greys covered and consistent colour throughout despite my slightly cackhanded approach. It was enjoyable to do with clear instructions. I may not go back the salon again.

I was skeptical about ordering "online" hair color. I have been a long time salon patron but I love the results I got with the e salon color. I especially loved all the tools being included. It is the first time I order from eSalon, I read many reviews and pretty much everybody agreed on the quality of the color and results so I decided to order before Christmas hoping (2 weeks before) I will be able to color my hair just before the holidays and it was not the case, the package came late and then I was too busy to do it. Anyway I understand the situation with mail during the holidays so finally I dyed my hair and OMG I love it! this is high end or salon quality (even better!) my hair was previously highlighted and I wanted one all over color and the results amazed me, My hair looks healthier, shiny and the color is perfect. This is the 2nd time I have used my custom color. It comes out perfectly from day 1 - not too dark as many others I have tried turn out. The color lasts and does not fade. This is my go to home hair coloring kit from now on.

Heather found the perfect color. The process was a little messy but the big reveal made it all worth it. I feel like I just back from the salon, but have a lot more money in my wallet and didn’t have to drive anywhere. So happy with my results!

I was previously using box dye. My hair feels healthier now after just one colour and the colour is lasting longer. The colour is also spot on based on my request! Service was great too.I love this concept. The package is also super cute and comes with everything you need including very informative instructions.

I've been ordering my colour here since the start of 2018. Only once did I have to go to salon (During covid and order didn't arrive for 3 months). They are so easy to work with, any issues that arose or changes I wanted to make they helped promptly. I LOVE the last colour change I got! It is perfect!

Since the pandemic hit I've been wanting to color my hair instead of giving $$$$ to my stylist once they reopened. I love my stylist but I can't afford to color and I'm getting more greys hairs. They make it so easy to do yourself! Very good quality product, my hair feels silky after. And, I am now comfortable to try again.

I have tried many hair colors, from salons to boxes. My hair is a hard match, it’s golden copper, if I would do drugstore colors I would have to mix two colors. I always want to stick as close to my natural color as possible to cover the grays around my temples and hairline. This color is awesome! It matches perfectly and doesn’t darken over time. It’s gentle on my hair and the color is always consistent! I can’t afford to go to a salon every month, nor do I have the desire to. This is the perfect solution!

I thought it might take a few tries to get the right color but the first order was perfect! It's been several months of use now and I'm still a fan. I love the great directions and available support and video ideas. I also appreciate that the color doesn't come off on my towels after applying the color and shampoo the first time or subsequent washings. I'm still waiting for eSalon to come up with a better solution to gray coverage between colorings such as a paint brush rather than a spray.

I was so nervous about coloring my hair for the first time because I didn't want to lose my natural red highlights, but desperately needed to start covering my grays... the hardest part was actually getting myself to go through with it! Once I did I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the process was, then even *more* pleasantly surprised by how good it looked! Shiny, rich color; not only did I not lose my red highlights, they were if anything enhanced and increased; and, no grays!

Absolutely loved it, I am on my 3rd application, I wanted to wait a bit before writing my review. I have curly dark hair and I am now getting my first grey hair and the customize colour does the work, it covers my few grey hair well and also give a beautiful purple highlight to my hair. I will still be using it as long as I can.

Loved it, as usual! The color is rich and lasts! I love the inclusion of roots and ends colors, it creates a nice cohesive coloring. The shampoo and conditioner cleans the hair nicely without stripping the color - and leaves it soft!

If you can’t make it to the salon, use this! This is so easy to do yourself. The color coverage is great especially for grays and it lasts without fading. I love the options and combinations you can choose from.

Since I’ve started using esalon, my hair stylist had commented on what great shape my hair is in. When I used to get it professionally colored, it would fade and dry out very quickly as the month wore on. This lasts and maintains beautiful color
