My hair color was way past due with all of the salons being closed. I decided to try esalon and I’m so glad I did. The color was perfect! I had to call and ask a question in the middle of the process and spoke to a stylist who was a tremendous help. Instructions that came with the product were clear but I needed to confirm something as I do not usually color my own hair. That might have just changed. Will see how long the color last bit this could be a lasting relationship. 😀 Love the packaging also❤️

I was very nervous about touching up my roots but decided to take the plunge and do it. It wasn't the easiest thing I've ever done but it turned out great! The color looks natural and spot on to the base color my hairdresser uses. Thank you, I'm ecstatic!

So I had tried Madison reed which turned my hair a horrible orange. I lightened it myself with wella toner and bleach which helped but left my hair soooo light. Wanted to go back to my natural dark blonde. This color nailed it! I was so relieved. Came super quick even during covid. Thank you e salon you’re the best!!!!

The color is fabulous! The grey coverage was perfect BUT I know to let it process longer if I have excessive grow out. I love the feel of my hair afterward! That being said, the blue did not take as I hoped it did. I had 2 days where I could see the blue in the daylight (that's what I wanted) and then it was gone. I even invested in color shampoo to go with the blue tint I was aiming for. I'm just waiting on a specialist now to see if they adjust the color.

I have colored my hair three times now and am surprised at how easy it has been! This is a great company doing a great job. I think the color is matched very closely, although not as blonde as I would like and that may be because I may need highlights again. I'm not sure. Overall, I am very happy.

The only other time I attempted to color my own hair was 20 years ago and the results were awful! After researching and watching many videos, I decided to try eSalon. I need to work on my technique with the lightening kit, but I am quite impressed with the results. The quality of the color may be better than what I usually get from the local salon so I'm very happy I decided to try it. My hair is so soft and shiny.
Now, if I could learn how to cut my own hair, I'd be ecstatic!

As a user of supermarket dye, I was hesitant about using this service as it is more expensive, however I thought I'd give it a go. The product looks lovely and I was excited to use it, I followed the instructions to the letter but my colour came out very dark, almost black in fact. After an email to customer service they not only offered me advice to lighten it but gave me a free colour. Now my hair is lightening, I can see the colour is lovely and much richer than a box dye. I'm confident that next time I'll get the results I'm after straight away. Happy customer!

I received my first colour package yesterday and was so excited to receive it! It came beautifully pacakaged with the colour, equipment and easy to follow instructions.
I had given my colour spec, as you do but also gave the stylist licence to tweak it according to my picture. I am so glad I did this as the final colour is just gorgeous. It applied easily and it felt like I had stepped out of a salon after. Thank you!!

Just wanted to say thank you. This was my first attempt at dying my own hair and I was very nervous. The instructions were easy to follow and the end result is just fantastic! I am very pleased with the colour your experts have put together for me. It was a little darker than I am used to but I love it and have had compliments.

I think the products are of high quality and longer lasting than what I can buy at Target or Walmart. I am currently having a slight adjustment made to the color I originally ordered. Easy to do and very good communication overall.

I was very nervous about trying to color my roots at home as I had never done it before. The good new is that I was blown away by how easy the process was and how wonderful the results are! Esalon makes choosing the right color easy and accurate. The kit is personalized and includes everything you need to do the job, including gloves, shampoo, and conditioner in addition to the color.
Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The results were just as good as my expensive salon and I didn't need to change my color formula at all, It blended perfectly with my existing color.
I'm a new and big fan of Esalon. and plan to recommend it to my friends.

Due to Covid 19 I could not go to my favorite hair salon!I am blonde and looking very dusty on top. So my daughter suggested esalon. It is great! I was very pleased with my color kit and the company generally. I have never ever colored my hair on my own before, I've always gone to salons. I completed the questionnaire and uploaded a photo. The colorist assigned to me emailed me to say that she thought I may have chosen to dark of a color and she was going to lighten it unless I objected - I didn't. I received the box - the packaging is super cute, pink inside with a poem on the cover when you open it. I loved how the products were labeled "Stacey's Color" and "Stacey's Instructions." The instructions were easy to follow. I went into this expecting the worse as it's not something I've ever done before but my hair came out really great!.....as good as my stylist (which I know sounds unbelievable but it's true). I highly recommend this company and product.

First time user -- I was a little anxious about the whole process. It is a challenge to get the back but doable. Somewhat messy and it did take me a long time to do my whole head but I'm sure I'll get quicker the more I do it. Super customer service and easy access to speak with a very helpful colorist. My hair is soft and shiny. Will definitely keep using this product especially since it's 1/3 the cost of going to a salon + no tip. I hope I'm as satisfied when I try doing my highlights.

All my color mixes have been excellent, and the customer service/attention to detail has been spectacular. I was especially impressed when a colorist reached out after I had trouble discerning which level my hair is (light brown, medium brown, etc.), because they thought my picture didn't quite match what I selected. Friends always comment on how natural my hair looks. I don't hide that I colour it. Never wanted unnatural colours so this is perfect. And I love that the colour very closely matches my salon colour.

Was easier to do then I thought. I did all over color due to social distancing and salons closed. It could use some high lights for some dimension but I don’t think I can do them myself. Covered my roots well. So many options and the price was right. I would purchase again for touch ups because of ease and definitely the price.

This was the first time I have ever colored my hair myself. I was extremely nervous but eSalon made choosing the color very easy. I completed my profile, attached a picture and the next thing I know I received notification on shipping. I received the package and again was hesitant but watched several of the how-to videos provided so I felt well-informed. Then I colored it and the results were fantastic! Great overall coverage (even for my stubborn grays) and color matched my skin tone. This might just be my go forward post quarantine.

I communicated with my color specialist regarding my color, which I loved, but my grey roots were showing up too quickly with my darker color. My color specialist added some more golden highlights and it was wonderful. My grey roots did not start showing up for four weeks plus! Thank you, thank you, and thank you!

This turned out so much better than I had hoped. I’ve had several people ask me who colored my hair during lock-down. Really pleased. Whole two color process was around 30 minutes and it looks great!

I’m a hair color dummy, truly. I tried to do research on how to get my bleached hair back to my natural dark brown color but all the toning and pigment adding really confused me. A lot of the reviews I kept reading was about covering grays or just boosting color, but if you’re trying to freshen up your out grown bleached hair.. this is worth it! Everything is customized for you and the instructions .. they are detailed. I love how you can also buy everything else you may need on the site. The color was exactly what I wanted. Not going to lie.. I messed up on a strand on the inside section because I didn't blend enough in that section (for some ODD reason) but it’s not too visible. You’ll always mess up a little during your first try right.... ?

I can’t thank you guys enough! I feel like I just stepped out of the salon 😍 the girl I spoke with really listened to what I was aiming for and she was so sweet! I was a little nervous at first but this color literally looks so perfect with my olive skin ♥️♥️♥️ I went from a very yellow color ( I lightened my whole head ) and I couldn’t figure out the right shade of blonde I wanted and this is just everything I asked for and more! My first time ever coloring my own hair so I was very apprehensive. Instructions were easy to follow and application was easy enough but some guesswork for me. Shampoo and conditioner are really nice. My hair was full (not normal), soft and smooth, and did not need washed again for 4 days which never happens! Pleasantly surprised with the results.

With COVID-19, I was prevented from going to my salon. My appointment was the day before the "stay at home" restriction, so I was looking bad. I submitted my pictures and my color came out perfect. So well that I think I'll begin doing my root touch-ups myself. Great instructions. My hair came out soft and shiny.

The color is great- dare I say as good if not better then pro hair salon color not to mention my hair feels healthier and more natural. I think there is no going back to spending so much money going to a hair salon. Will try high-lighting with color next round. Even my discriminating fashionable adult daughter was very impressed. I was skeptical at first, for sure. I didn't think I would like the auto ship thing either but to my surprise, the color that I was sent is perfect in every way. My hair feels healthier after I color it and it doesn't dry it out at all. It looks like I have gotten my hair colored in a salon. Thanks for putting such a great product out there. ive been using eSalon for my hair products for almost a year now. I've never had 1 complaint. At first doing my own color was a bit messy but now I'm a pro...haha...the color that is custom made for me looks natural and it's easy on the perm I have. In fact after using my custom color my perm sparked up again. I was so surprised. I love love love eSalon...

I am very impressed with how the color came out . I sent in my before photos and guessed on my color. The colorist did a great deciding on the color. I am a huge fan now and will use for future root touch ups.

Overall I am very impressed. The root touch-up color turned out very well especially not knowing what to initially pick. The colorist matched it just how I wanted it. I will definitely buy again in the future!

I was a little intimidated at first so my daughter helped me since this was the first time I did this myself, and I was very surprised how well it came out and no running color left on my scalp. I will definitely order again and their tutorials really helped.

Was really sceptical as first time used a home colour in a long time was so surprised so easy to use instruction clear ( no jargon!) colour just slightly darker but that was my doing the condition of hair left soft and shiny felt like I’d been to the salon .........wished you could do online cuts too!

ESALON was quick on shipping and the color was beautiful and matched my current color exactly. I tried ordering from another company (Madison Reed) and they took FOREVER to send my color and it was delay after delay and their color isn’t as vibrant as ESALONs color!!!! My colour arrived and I was very pleased with the instructions and how everything was labelled. I am so pleased with the outcome that when the hairdresser do open again .i might only just visit to have my hair cut. My daughter was so impressed too that she has now ordered her hair colour from E salon. Looking forward to my next order arriving.
