I was a bit sceptical seeing it advertised on Instagram and with some comments saying that eSalon had paid people to write reviews, but I am completely happy with how my hair turned out. I have used box dyes since I was 16 which had left my hair lifeless but this colour has made my hair look super healthy! It doesn't have that awful smell that most dyes do and there is plenty of it! I will never go back to box dyes!

E-salon color will be my go to for all over color I do at home. The price is comparable to store bought, however my gray covered better than it ever has with store bought color, my hair is so shiny and soft and healthy. I love that I receive two bottles so that I am guaranteed full saturation on my long brown hair. Great product.

Thanks for the esalon colour service .It is a much better way rather than going to get a box from the supermarket and not really having much choice.
I really felt depressed over the lockdown and didn’t go out for 3 days as my hair was looking dreadful . Well now I feel and look 100 % better because of my hair colour .

I am 100% satisfied with my color. The colorist suggested going only one shade darker instead of two and it was the perfect adjustment. The kit recommended coloring roots first which completely covered my grays. Then I blended the color out to my ends which created a very natural look. Multidimensional color. Im very pleased!

I just had my colour done and I must say I’m astonished with the result , so shiny and soft , I believe my days at hairdressers are gone ! 😊the presentation in the box it’s absolutely outstanding, nothing similar in the market , I will probably adjust the colour for the lengths with a bit more of copper or golden , waiting for my personal colourist feedback on that . I wasn’t really sure before I tried the hair colour from eSalon, fortunately I’m so glad after my first colour, it covered my roots fully which was my main concern. Although it was bit darker than the colour I normally use but can’t complain after seeing the result. The packaging was so lush and instructions are easy to understand. I wanted a new color and changed it to a beautiful medium brown with mahogany. It is such a pleasure to work with the colorist. I knew what I wanted but was having trouble explaining it to them, so I found a picture of what I was looking for and it helped with our communication. They are so helpful. I received my color right after the big Texas Thaw, so I had my husband color it today. I am always so thrilled at how easy it is for him to color my hair following the directions. It’s a beautiful color and my hair is healthy. I am so thankful for the fact that esalon does exactly what it says it will do. Thank you for the wonderful customer service and custom color.

After spending sooo much on salon coloring used box color and was never happy. I saw esalon and decided to give it a try. Well I was pleasantly surprised. The color was beautiful the colorist really listens. I have Andrea and I am currently working on changing up the color a bit. She is fantastic and doesn't ever do anything drastic. I can't imagine ever going back to the salon for color again. Esalon is the best. And the color rinses are great too. I just ordered the hair silk treatment and can't wait to use it. I have total confidence in esalon and believe ill be a happy customer until I decide to go completely natural grey. But I'm sure I can even get a color for that as well...

First lockdown I made the mistake of using box dye which dried my hair out so much I had to cut off alot more than I wanted at my last hairdresser visit.
As I haven't had my hair coloured since end of November I had to try something else and I am so glad i found eSalon. Easy to complete customer hair colour survey and not disappointed after my first use. Greys covered perfectly, colour is exactly what I wanted and my hair feels amazing! just like when I have been to the hairdressers for my colour
I went for light brown ash and it's perfect. Upon application the dye goes on very dark, almost black which made me panic slightly but when washing off after 30 min the colour is a lovely brown with no hints of red. Just what I wanted.
Thank you eSalon I can go grey free and know I wont be runing my hair!

I am so so pleased to have found this system! So easy to set up and I loved the details they look for so that they can personalise my colour. Easy to upload photos too. I was contacted prior to receiving my colour to check some colour details. My colour is great and it definitely feels salon quality.
My only 1 slight niggle, for which I have knocked off 1 star for is the excess packaging. It's simply not needed and I really didn't get the point of being sent a sticker to put on my instructions which says 'Just for you', when the instructions are already personalised with my name on. You could make a huge impact on packaging savings by cutting it down, I counted 5 bits of cardboard/plastic that could be completely avoided.
Otherwise, I won't be going anywhere else from now on! Thank you!

I've been using drugstore box hair color for years. Last year I had a serious color correction done in the hair salon which costed me a lots of money and also left my hair in a bad shape. Recently discovered Esalon and decided to give it a try. After first coloring I was pleasantly surprised. Haircolor didn't hurt my scalp and the color was nice. I am going to continue using it. These custom made to order colour are amazing. The instructions are super easy to follow and covered all my grey! Next time I would leave it for longer than 15 mins so the colour was more vibrant.

Because of covid and not able to go to salon I didnt want to buy bog standard box dyes from the supermarket as I've spent alot of money on getting my hair colour to be the way it is and didnt want to risk ruining my hair. Buying from esalon was a great decision. It was surprisingly easy, even doing the back of my hair. I am so happy with the outcome. Love the shine aswell.

I really liked using my custom colour set. The colour was customised for me by my colourist, and it was spot on! The product itself is very effective on my hair yet, gentle. The shampoo and conditioner supplied with my set left my hair cleansed and smooth. It 110% Worked for me and the instructions are great. Easy to follow and fool proof. It made colouring my hair a pleasure! Everything is thought of in great detail right down to the satin cover to prevent staining of your skin while colouring your hair. The box is well presented and personalised, which is a lovely incentive!

Since lockdown I cannot go to Canada to my beloved hairdresser. He gave me my formula which you created so well, and I gained confidence coloring my own hair with your excellent videos. I find that when coloring the back, I tug the slice of hair a little to feel exactly where it is. I am a pandemic Rapunzel, but love how pretty and healthy my long hair looks, thanks to esalon!

I had never done my own color before Covid, and was scared because I didn't have a clue how to do it. I didn't want to ruin my hair which is thin and has a lot of grey. I am in my early 50's. I was really relieved when my hair turned well. So I set up auto reorder and have been doing my own for 9 months now. The color is excellent and looks natural. My hair feels healthy. I can do it myself, but it does really help that I have a mirror set up to see behind my head. It would be even easier with a friend/husband to help with the back. I find the Esalon website and ordering to be very user friendly and awesome. It's super easy to do everything like change the date of my deliveries.

i wondered if this would be any better than the over the counter ones, but its far superior. And the colour lasts much longer too. Its great to have a contact at eSalon too for any queries or questions. I was a little nervous but definitely worth trying. I will definitely be using again and will try the highlights next... maybe never need expensive hairdressers again... worth trying.

I have been trying desperately to find a subtle auburn shade that says red head, but doesn’t scream it. I’ve been just about every color on the spectrum over the years. I may not be a true redhead, but it’s my attitude for sure. I’ve had lots of compliments to date. My hair doesn’t feel like plastic and my scalp is not irritated.

This color turned out beautifully! I wasn’t sure if I was ready to move on from the blonde so I waited a bit to dye my hair. I’m glad I took the leap, beautiful tones and the color works so much better with my skin tone. Colorist did an excellent job with my color!
