My first tryI needed to cover my roots without disturbing the highlights. I used the bottle and brush method very successfully. The color blended well with the rest of my hair. My only objection is the ammonia odor. I was under the impression that this product is ammonia free. This is the reason for 4 stars. Overall, I am satisfied with the product. Very Happy!ESalon was recommended by a friend. I finally ordered because of COVID 19. My husband helped me and between the 2 of us got it done. (Learned a lot for next time). The result is beautiful! I don't know that I will be going back to the salon for colorI tried box color years ago with disastrous results, so I was a bit nervous (but more desperate than nervous with the salons having been shut) to try eSalon.
