3rd time not charmI gave e salon 3 chances with pictures and feed back and they never could get rhe color right. Now i am left with discolored hair that i am going to have to have professionally colored to fix it. What i thought would be my answer cost me not only 60+ for 3 colors, but another $175 on a professional coloring and whatever the expensive shampoo and conditioner costs that i'll have to use on hair that will be damaged by lightening the sides (after expessly stating that i can't use ash colors they sent me a light brown with ash or green base that turned my sides black). Great!I've been using the custom color since July and I've never been happier with the consistence of my color tone. Prior to that I was at the hair dresser every 4 weeks and the color was fading and my hair was drying out. That's not happening with eSalon. Great Quality DyeI was really skeptical when I first got my box. I have really thick hair, like, it takes me two hours to do pretty much anything with it, thick hair. I usually use two boxes of normal colour because one isn't enough. I ended up being very pleasantly surprised. The formula was kind of like a creme texture that was easier to apply. The biggest surprise however was how my felt when I was rinsing. Normally, my hair has a post treatment, fried sort of feel to it. With this, it was quite the opposite. My hair had a nice, soft texture. The reason I give it a 4 instead of a 5, however, is because of the colour. That isn't to say that the colour was bad; it just wasn't quite what I was expecting. The final colour is kind of like a warm maple syrup colour, and I was aiming for more of a Sophie Turner, ginger toned hue.
