1st timerI was very impressed with the kit and instructions. I did get concerned when my hair started to get stiff, but I think it was because I was taking too long to cover my hair. It rinsed very well and did not bleed alot after. I wish I would have picked a lighter shade, but I really wanted a violet tint. Best hair color ever!I love my custom hair color. People are surprised to find out that I color my hair. My stylist is amazed how shiny my hair is even after 6 weeks. Store bought box colors and beauty store colors always faded out and looked awful by the end of the month. Not my custom color. I've even skipped a month and my color was still shiny after two months. Of course my grey hair was back but that's a loosing battle. I highly recommend eSalon and tell all my friends they should try it. Update 06-18-16 Just tweaked my color a bit for something different and eSalon mixed it perfect! I was a little worried just because it still looked like it had a lot of red, something I wanted less of. The final result was exactly what I wanted.
