Where have you been all my coloring days????Ever since I had to start coloring my hair (25 years) I constantly was faced with the problem of not being able to get the same color from a manufacturer which meant I had to chose another brand and hope to match the color, or, over a period of time my color was renamed and replaced with another shade. I never had a consistent color - it was either too light, too dark, too red or too drab. But now I have my custom color sent to me and it is the same EVERY time I get it. Each time I use it - someone tells me they love the color of my hair. I love to tell people about your product...because you have taken away the worry of what color will my hair turn out to be. ColorI have been using eSalon for at least 5 years and can say I will never use any other product. If you need to change your color they make every effort to provide a new color according to your request. I requested a new color and it was too dark. They remixed it until I was happy again. Color is beautiful for a short time, but not as easy as box from grocery storeFor me, this took a lot longer than using a box from the grocery store, and the color was darker than I expected. Also, when I signed up, where you can put in a note to the colorist, I noted that I prefer temporary color and asked if I should get temporary instead of permanent color from eSalon. I received no response electronically. When my package was received, there was no acknowledgement of my question in there either, and I received permanent color. The permanent color faded quicker than expected, and I liked the color it faded to after a couple of weeks, but it kept fading. Not as satisfied as first two times.I have used this hair color a few times now and have to say I am reconsidering my options. I've worked hard at following the instructions and times but have not consistently gotten close to the same results. Disappointing: did not cover gray hair!This would be my third time using the Custom Hair Color product. The first two times the product worked great. This last time, I was really disappointed.
